Diary 20/01/2010

Woke up early this morning as I needed to go for my Hep B vaccine injection and scaling for teeth.

Was amazed to find out that I didnt get my vaccine injection for more than five years already, hopefully am not in the high risk group of getting Hep B as it seems that Hep B is kinda dangerous. Paid 47 bucks (mum actually) for that injection, quite painful too, unlike normal kind of injection. And of course mum took the golden chance to enquire the doc about the mark left on my hand (around one month dy) after the mantoux test, and he said it's fine. Know what, sometimes my mum gets paranoid when she hears all sorts of scary descriptions without any proof from others and begin to ask me to go through all the rituals like taking more cod liver oil, vitamins and etc. So I gotta bring out the wisest Wikipedia to aid me.

For example, after the very stupid experience of being suspected as a possible patient of tuberculosis and had to rush to Pantai hospital for specialist consultation. Well, isnt it obvious, I'm healthy ok... The specialist actually wrote something like well expanded and clear lungs, etc. But most importantly was the phrase with no known evidence of past or present tuberculosis... Sweat... Then when I went back to polyclinic to request for my med checkup form to be filled, she (the stupid and dumb doc) actually said you must present this thing to JPA, this is very important. Wouldnt you be angry when you hear this? Their nurse made a mistake in the first place as when she should have measured the induration area of my hand (which was none at all), she went to measure the reddish part which resulted in me being maligned. Somemore she was busily flirting with a guy who looked like a delivery man until she didnt notice my presence, argggh.

And so back to the main topic, I finished with my first task, Hep B jab.

So then after that I went for teeth scaling. Went to a very experienced dentist and was a bit earlier than the appointed time but the nurse, seeing not many clients were there at that time, allowed me to go for my scaling earlier, so lucky :).

Scaling is kinda fun, with me opening my mouth real big and the dentist trying to remove all the tartar from my teeth. And I did try my best in stopping him from praising my beautiful set of teeth which he said must try hard to take care of, since its so complete and beautiful.

Scaling was a bit more expensive, costed my mum 60 bucks, but you cant deny the effect of scaling, feel that there's a lot of holes in mouth now...

And then the rest of the day? Sleeping after coming back home and not to forget to mention this, went to blueberry to buy takeaway, burger and fries plus pineapple drink with only 4 bucks, great deal it is. Then waited for the time for badminton session, kinda fun, seems that my badminton skill is improving :).
